I did it! I exercised Every. Single. Day. For a whole week!

I’m actually not sure if I should be excited about this or not though. I mean, for one thing, now I can’t use the excuse that I don’t have time anymore. And I also won’t be able to stick to this one, although working out every single day was a bit of a lofty goal anyway. I would be happy doing a half hour of exercise maybe 3-4 days a week. Even that is a lofty goal for me. Who says “lofty” this much? Or ever. Such a weird word.

I set a few guidelines for myself before the week started. The first was that I had to do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise each day, and add on extra time if I picked an easier workout, like walking. I also couldn’t do the same exercise more than twice. I thought this might make me get to the gym at least once this week, but it didn’t. Shocker. Definitely cancelling that membership.

So here it is. My full week of work outs:

WEDNESDAY: Walk with a friend for 1 hour by the beach.

THURSDAY: 40 minute On Demand workout.

FRIDAY: Walk with a friend for 1 hour by the lake.

SATURDAY: Apartment complex gym with Dan. 15 minutes on the eliptical, 15 minutes with machines & free weights.

SUNDAY: 30 minute On Demand workout.

MONDAY: Insanity workout with Dan.

TUESDAY: 15 minutes of yoga before work. 15 minutes of abs after work.

And there you have it. The reason I cry when I sneeze and am walking like a newborn calf this week. Ow.
